The Mumbai Organic Fest is back with its bouquet of organic offerings… This time it is much bigger with many more farmers from Maharashtra and Gujarat getting their organic produce directly from the farms.
‘Praakritik’ which is the parent brand of ‘The Mumbai Organic Fest’ servers as a platform for the farmers to directly connect with their consumers without the middle men. It is an honest effort to give chemical free produce to many and many health conscious people at a genuine rate. So that, people get to eat authentic organic produce from the farms and the farmers get fair rates for all their hard work…
‘The Mumbai Organic Fest’ always chooses their ambience like a ‘Village’ which gives you a feel of buying produce directly from the farms like: fruits, vegetables, honey, jaggery, pasta to name a few and everything organic directly to the consumers. Adding to the offerings- cosmetics, clothes, ghee and many exciting activities for kids have been introduced like: pottery making, pottery painting, bullock cart ride etc…
There will be live food counters to serve you hot pastas with organic vegetables as per your choice. Food stalls with typical village food like, Makke ki roti & garlic chutney will refresh your food pallets and many more delicacies coming straight from the organic farms.
To make the ambience more vibrant and to prep your mood, there will believe folk music and songs by young singers performing all day!!!On this occasion Ms. Dharmishtha Goenka, who owns ‘Praakritik’ and ‘The Mumbai Organic Fest’ says, “While I was working for Praakritik, on my journey I came across many organic farmers who were looking for an opportunity to connect with their consumers directly. At the same time, I met people who wouldn’t mind paying a little more for their health and were looking for an authentic organic produce. That’s when I decided to create this platform ‘The Mumbai Organic Fest’. Also, after the success of the 2nd Edition of the Mumbai Organic Fest in December ‘15 and on farmers demand we are again coming back in a much bigger way. This time many more farmers from Maharashtra and Gujarat are participating. Hence, I wish them good luck, so that they get fair returns for all their hard work… and happy organic shopping to all our consumers. Well, we are looking forward to organize many more such event in the future and hence keep bringing health and happiness in people life”.
