| TCEB To Launch A Business Forum In Vadodara |
In a move that reflects deeper engagement with India, Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) partnered Thailand’s Board of Investment (BOI) to launch a business forum in Vadodara, Gujarat on December 15, 2016 at the office of Federation of Gujarat Industries (FGI). BOI’s Director & Consul-Investment Ms Kanokporn Chotipal and TCEB’s India representative Mr. Sachin Manocha spoke to members of FGI and local trade associations under the theme “Doing business with Thailand”.
Vadodara was chosen because its industrial profile mirrors that of Thailand and that many trade shows in Thailand can benefit Gujarati industrialists, especially those that cater to the city’s key industries such as agriculture, energy, pharmaceutical, plastic, engineering, textile and jewellery. Many of these trade shows have grown to become major events in their industries, making them a vibrant marketplace for new technologies, new business and networking. TCEB’s outreach efforts in Gujarat will continue in Rajkot and Ahmedabad in 2017.
When planning a visit, Indian federations, chambers of commerce and trade organisations can also take advantage of TCEB’s “CONNECT Businesses” campaign to receive USD100 for each trade visitor who achieves three business meetings at their chosen exhibition. Detailed campaign and application can be requested to Mr.Sachin Manocha – TCEB’s India Representative at firstname.lastname@example.org.
