Fairfest Media, the organizers of India's biggest travel show, TTF & OTM is now OneWorld Travel Mart (OTM). OTM recently concluded its 2 shows in Mumbai and Delhi making it BIGGER than ever before with over 760 exhibitors and participants from 34 countries and 24 states. OTM now is not only the biggest-ever travel show, but also the biggest international travel show in India. Announcing their maiden international foray, the OneWorld Travel Mart, San Francisco, from 27th - 30th September 2012.
OTM Mumbai this year had a record of 15% increase in the number of participants from Turkey, China, Thailand, Sri Lanka and Nepal, the Partner Countries. Also having a sizeable presence as Feature Countries are Egypt, Philippines, Bhutan, Indonesia, Zimbabwe and Russia. Other countries represented are Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, Dubai, Ecuador, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Peru, Seychelles, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, Tanzania, USA, and Uzbekistan.
Partner States Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, and Karnataka, lead the participation in the domestic segment at OTM this year, with large private sector presence. West Bengal, Jharkhand, Punjab, Dadra & Nagar Haveli are participating enthusiastically as well as Feature States.
OTM also has participation from Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Assam, Delhi, Goa, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Meghalaya, Orissa, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh.
Most of the countries and states were participating along with private operators. The private sector organizations strike deals, and transact the actual buying and selling of tour packages, hotel rooms and transportation, with the travel trade, business travelers, MICE sector, groups and FITs.
OTM was committed for visitorship of travel trade members, corporate and business travel decision makers, as well as leisure and holiday travelers. OTM, Mumbai had more than 15,000 footfall which included 10,000 trade visitors.
Keeping in view the upcoming peak holiday season, and to spur Mumbaikars to take that much-needed break, most of the participants featured best buy deals and discounts.
OTM got full support from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, as well as travel industry bodies like PATA, ADTOI, OTOAI, IATO etc.
