| Caribbean Airlines started daily late night flights between the two islands Trinidad and Tobago |
Caribbean Airlines (CAL) has introduced a daily late night service between the two islands sister Trinidad and Tobago, which will result in the Piarco International Airport and the Arthur NR Robinson International Airport operating on a 24-hour basis.
The new flight times are from Port-of-Spain to Tobago departing at 10.30 p.m.; from Tobago to Port-of-Spain departing at 11.30 p.m.; Port-of-Spain to Tobago departing at 12.35 a.m.; and from Tobago to Port-of-Spain departing at 1.30 a.m.
This means Tobagonians will no longer have to overnight in Trinidad, and those travelling between the two islands can now conduct business easier. Transport Minister, Devant Maharaj said: "This will improve the process of development in Trinidad and Tobago. It will give airlines new flexibility in scheduling and will only serve to increase the attractiveness of the country as an international destination for tourism, cargo and transit purposes.”
