StarCruises Extends Hong Kong Sailings Until 14 November 2025

StarCruises has officially announced the extension of its homeport sailings from Hong Kong, with Star Voyager now scheduled to operate from 27 June through 14 November 2025. The announcement was made during a high-profile press conference held in Hong Kong, attended by key representatives from StarDream Cruises, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), the Tourism Commission, and the Travel Industry Council.
Following overwhelming demand for its initial summer deployment, the Star Voyager will now offer an extended season of sailings, giving both local and international travellers more opportunities to enjoy premium cruising experiences. The cruise itineraries include exciting 2, 3, and 5-night voyages to stunning destinations such as Okinawa (Naha and Ishigaki) in Japan, and Keelung, Kaohsiung, and Penghu in Taiwan. The popular 2-night weekend high-seas cruise, departing every Friday, will also continue to offer guests a convenient and luxurious short getaway at sea.
Departing from Hong Kong’s iconic Ocean Terminal, the centrally located homeport provides seamless access to transportation links and the city’s renowned attractions, making it ideal for both Fly-Cruise and Rail-Cruise travellers. The extended deployment not only enhances holiday options for Hong Kong residents but also positions the city as a leading regional cruise hub.
“We are proud to bring Star Voyager to Hong Kong and to extend our sailings through autumn,” said Mr. Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises. “With the strong support of the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Hong Kong Tourism Board, we are confident in boosting the region’s cruise tourism and offering unforgettable travel experiences.”
Mr. Dane Cheng, Executive Director of the HKTB, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “We are excited to welcome Star Voyager’s extended deployment in Hong Kong. This reflects the strong revival of our cruise tourism sector and further strengthens our city’s positioning as Asia’s cruise gateway.”
Star Voyager is a luxurious floating resort featuring elegant accommodations, signature Palace Suites with butler service, diverse dining options, vibrant entertainment, and an array of onboard activities including water parks, ziplining, rock climbing, and live shows—making it a destination in itself.
Cruise itineraries for the extended period will be released by the end of May. Bookings can be made through local travel agents or directly at www.stardreamcruises.com.
