Thane Gears Up for Navratri Glory with Raas Rang 2025 at Raymond Ground
After the grandeur of Ganeshotsav, Thane is now gearing up for the much-awaited festival of Navratri. This year, ‘Raas Rang Thane 2025’ will be held at the iconic Raymond Ground from 22nd September to 1st October 2025, jointly organized by CREDAI MCHI Thane and Dharamvir Anand Dighe Pratishthan.
The Bhumi Pujan ceremony was recently performed at the festival venue in the presence of dignitaries including Thane MP Naresh Mhaske, CREDAI MCHI Thane President Sachin Mirani, Former President Jitendra Mehta, Secretary Faiyaz Veerani, Former Corporator Vikas Reepale, and Namrata Bhosle.
Carrying forward a 27-year legacy, Raas Rang Thane has become one of the biggest cultural highlights of the city, blending devotion, music, and dance with the vibrant energy of Navratri. This year’s edition promises to be even more spectacular with over 12,000 visitors daily and performances by renowned Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati artists. Special programs include Garba for Children with Special Needs, TMC School’s Garba on 27th September, and a Grand Aarti Competition on 30th September.

Once known primarily as a residential extension of Mumbai, Thane today stands tall as a tourist destination and real estate hub.
