World Tourism Day Celebration Returns to Delhi with its 6th Edition
The Purvanchal Paryatan Association (PPA), in association with the Great Indian Travel Fest (GITF), will organise the 6th Edition of the World Tourism Day Celebration on September 26, 2026, at Udman Hotels and Resorts, NH8, Delhi.
The event is expected to bring together over 1,000 tourism and hospitality professionals, including travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers, DMCs, tourism boards and destination specialists. More than 100 domestic and international hosted buyers, 20 leading exhibitors and 15 industry speakers are expected to participate.

With a strong focus on high-value B2B networking, the event will offer exhibitors and delegates opportunities to showcase destinations, travel products and hospitality offerings while developing new partnerships and exploring emerging markets.
Founded in 2021 by Shridhar Jha, the celebration has evolved into an important networking platform for India’s travel fraternity. The programme will also highlight culture, heritage and sustainable tourism, encouraging greater collaboration across the tourism value chain.
Adding a festive dimension, the event will feature a signature Bollywood-style celebration, curated lunch and lucky draws every 30 minutes, offering tour packages, hotel stays and other prizes.
Buyer participation will be subject to approval and capped to ensure productive business interactions. Interested travel professionals can register at World Tourism Day 2026.
