The 2nd Andaman Roadshow concluded on high note
The 2nd Andaman Roadshow, organized by the Association of Andaman Tour Operators (AATO), concluded with resounding success from June 13th to June 17th, 2024. The event celebrated AATO’s 20 years of excellence in promoting tourism in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and was marked by enthusiastic participation from delegates, celebrities, and industry leaders.
Grand Inaugural Ceremony - June 13
The grand inaugural ceremony was held at Hotel Mansha Regency which set the stage for the event, showcasing the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty of the Andaman Islands. Distinguished guests and participants were welcomed with vibrant performances and heartfelt speeches, highlighting the significance of sustainable tourism.
Exploration of Swaraj Dweep - June 14
The delegates explored the picturesque Swaraj Dweep, visiting the serene Kalapathar Beach and the stunning Radhanagar Beach. The day included hotel inspections at some of the island’s finest properties, including Symphony Palms, Deforet Resort, Barefoot, TSG Blue, Taj Exotica, and De Havlok Queen. Delegates also enjoyed a stay at the Havelock Island Beach Resort, experiencing the exceptional hospitality of the region.
Visit to Shaheed Dweep - June 15
The delegates visiting Thilar Siro Resort before departing for Shaheed Dweep via Makruzz. Upon arrival, they conducted property visits and inspections at Tango Beach Resort, Aquyas Resort, and Summer Sand Resort. The day also included a visit to Bharatpur Beach, followed by a departure back to Port Blair by Nautica.
Conclusion and Closing Ceremony - June 16
The final day, began with a visit to the historic Cellular Jail - National Memorial, providing a poignant reminder of the region’s rich history. Hotel visits included Fortune Resort (Welcome Group), 6ix Seashore, Peerless Beach Resort, Hotel Lemon Tree, Zone Connect By Park, and Symphony Samudra Resort. The event concluded with a grand closing ceremony at Jalsa Banquet, celebrating the achievements of the past few days.
