ASEANTA Celebrated 35 Years of Tourism Excellence at Awards Night in Cebu

The ASEAN Tourism Association (ASEANTA) marked a major milestone by honouring regional excellence at the 35th ASEANTA Tourism Awards of Excellence, held in Cebu alongside the ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2026. The prestigious awards recognised outstanding organisations and individuals whose contributions continue to shape a more innovative, sustainable, and collaborative tourism landscape across Southeast Asia.

With a legacy spanning over three decades, the ASEANTA Tourism Awards have become one of ASEAN’s most respected industry recognitions, setting benchmarks for quality and responsible tourism development. This year’s awardees reflect the diversity and strength of ASEAN tourism, celebrating achievements in sustainability, cultural preservation, destination marketing, hospitality, and visitor experience.

Beyond recognition, the awards play a vital role in raising regional standards, encouraging the replication of best practices, and strengthening ASEAN’s position as a diverse yet unified tourism destination. ASEANTA also acknowledged the strong support of the Tourism Promotions Board Philippines and the Department of Tourism Philippines for successfully hosting the awards as part of ATF 2026.
