GPHG 2026 Exhibition Brings 84 Nominated Watches to Mumbai

The Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) 2026 exhibition is being held at The St. Regis Mumbai from September 28 to October 1. Hosted by Ethos, the four-day showcase brings 84 nominated timepieces across 14 award categories to India, offering collectors and watch enthusiasts a close look at contemporary watchmaking.

Founded in 2001, the GPHG celebrates excellence in horology, recognising watches for their design, technical innovation and craftsmanship. Its Mumbai exhibition places the nominated creations before Indian audiences ahead of the 2026 awards, inviting visitors to appreciate the ideas and expertise behind each piece.

The programme begins on September 28 with an exclusive media preview, followed by a Grand Inaugural Gala. Collectors and VIP guests take centre stage on September 29, with curated tours, dedicated viewings and an evening gathering designed for closer engagement with the watches.

On September 30, registered visitors and partners can explore the exhibition through guided tours and partner experiences. An evening reception will bring together members of the watchmaking and luxury communities.

The final day, October 1, turns the focus towards learning. Immersive watchmaking workshops, expert talks and curated tours will give visitors an opportunity to understand the precision, patience and creativity involved in making a fine timepiece. A closing session will conclude the Mumbai showcase.

Across the four days, the exhibition presents watches as expressions of both engineering and artistic vision. Details that can be difficult to appreciate in photographs—from the finishing of a movement to the balance of a dial—can be seen up close, making the showcase a draw for established collectors and those newly interested in horology.

The GPHG’s arrival also reflects Mumbai’s growing role as a meeting place for international luxury brands and Indian collectors. By hosting the exhibition, Ethos offers local audiences access to some of the year’s most notable watchmaking creations and the stories behind them.
