Grand Inauguration Marks the Commencement of GITM 2024
The Goa International Travel Mart (GITM) 2024 kicked off spectacularly with a grand inaugural ceremony held at Bay 15, Dona Paula on 2nd April 2024. The inauguration, held in the distinguished presence of Dr. Puneet Kumar Goel, IAS, Chief Secretary, Government of Goa, Shri. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Director Tourism & Managing Director GTDC, Mr. Nilesh Shah, TTAG President, Mr. Vivek Kerkar, Skal President Goa Chapter and Mr. Carlos Desouza, Convenor CII commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the auspicious beginning of GITM 2024.
Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Director Tourism & Managing Director GTDC delivered the opening address, emphasizing the significance of GITM in promoting tourism and fostering meaningful collaborations. Mr. Nilesh Shah, TTAG President also addressed the gathering during the Inaugural ceremony. He said "At the 4th edition of GITM 2024, we find a pivotal platform aimed not only at fostering sustainable and regenerative tourism practices but also at shining a spotlight on the myriad dimensions of Goa that extend beyond its beaches and spiritual tourism.
