Safari Plus INTALK with the new Regional Director, IndiaTourism (Western and Central Region) Mumbai Office, Mr. Venkatesan Dhattareyan.
“It has been now 3 months since, I have taken over as the Regional Director of IndiaTourism (Western and Central Region). This region has immense potential and over the period I have been regularly interacting with the trade partners and participating in travel exhibitions. I look forward to the forthcoming OTM fair, India’s biggest Travel Fair and also my first OTM. The Ministry of Tourism has taken 150 Sq Meter of space for 'Incredible India' stand this year at OTM. Our primary focus will be the promotion of domestic tourism and also the western and central region in big way. The Stakeholder from other regions as well and tour operator from Rajasthan, Punjab and Jammu Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh are expected to be present in India Tourism Stand .
“I will be available to meet and interact with the Trade Partners for all the three days at event. And also to create awareness about the flagship schemes of the Ministry of Tourism that are already on for the operators and see how they can leverage. The two schemes we will be highlighting will be “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” and “Incredible India Tourist Facilitator Certification Program” he added.
