Universal Studios Singapore Unveils Illumination’s Minion Land with Exclusive Rides and Attractions
Universal Studios Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has officially unveiled Illumination’s Minion Land, an exciting new zone inspired by the beloved Despicable Me and Minions franchises. This latest addition marks a major milestone in RWS’s journey to become Asia’s leading lifestyle destination, offering guests of all ages a mix of thrilling attractions, themed dining experiences, and exclusive merchandise.
At the heart of Minion Land is Buggie Boogie, the world’s first Minion dance party-themed carousel, and the Super Hungry Food Stand, which serves a variety of dishes inspired by the films. The grand opening was celebrated with fanfare, featuring appearances by the Minions, Gru, and his family, accompanied by vibrant yellow balloons and confetti.

An Immersive Minion Adventure Awaits
Developed in collaboration with Universal Creative, Illumination, and RWS, Minion Land offers three uniquely themed areas:

Minion Marketplace – Guests can explore three Minion-themed retail stores offering exclusive merchandise. Highlights include Sweet Surrender’s candy-themed souvenirs, Pop Store’s trendy apparel with a Minion twist, and Fun Store’s range of playful toys and accessories.

Gru’s Neighborhood – Visitors can join Gru, Lucy, and their daughters—Margo, Edith, and Agnes—on Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, a wild ride through Gru’s villain laboratory where guests are transformed into Minions. Fans can also enjoy the live Minute of Minion Mayhem show and meet-and-greets with their favorite characters.

Super Silly Fun Land – Inspired by the seaside carnival from Despicable Me, this playful zone features the Buggie Boogie carousel, the Silly Swirly aerial ride, and interactive game booths like Space Killer and Ba-Na-Na CaBaNa.
Delicious Minion-Themed Eats
Minion Land also features exclusive food and beverage options at the Super Hungry Food Stand, where guests can enjoy themed dishes such as the Unlucky Ducky Creamy Chicken Stew, Stuart’s Japanese Curry Karaage, Super Silly Veggie Burger, and Mini Boss Lunch Box. Guests can also savor unique Minion-inspired popcorn flavors at Pop-A-Nana.
