Launch of 'India @ 75' at Port Blair
Indiatourism Port Blair, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in collaboration with Association of Andaman Tour Operators (AATO) celebrated the “Launch of India @ 75" on 12th March 2021 at 1100 hrs in Aparupa Hotel, Portblair.
India@75 is an industry-led movement that brings together different stakeholders of society to create a morally, economically and technologically advanced country. Tourism is an industry that has made a significant impact on society as well as on the economy in a very short time. The programme, called Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav will commence 75 weeks prior to August 15, 2022 -- the day independent India turns 75 -- and end on August 15, 2023. Tourism in the campaign will also promote in 2022 as the Visit India Year through various promotional campaigns highlighting India’s strengths like heritage, culture, art, wellness and yoga. In order to create awareness about the varied and diverse aspects of India to the domestic market, various campaigns and webinar series taking place under the ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ and momentous sites were been identified in each state to be developed and promoted under the Dekho Apna Desh scheme.
The gathering was addressed by Assistant Director, India Tourism, President AATO,Shri M.Vinod and Shri Madan Lall, Vice President, ACCI.
