Oman Showcased Luxury, Culture & Wellness at ‘Focus Oman 2025’ in Jaipur

The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, Sultanate of Oman, in collaboration with 25 leading Omani stakeholders, successfully hosted the first-of-its-kind B2B event, “Focus Oman”, in Jaipur from 18–21 August 2025. The event brought together Oman’s top hotels, DMCs, and attraction partners to engage directly with more than 150 luxury travel planners, wedding specialists, and MICE operators from across India.

The platform was designed to strengthen Oman’s positioning as a luxury short-haul destination for Indian travellers, while also presenting fresh offerings tailored for repeat visitors seeking experiential journeys.

Yousuf Khalaf Al Mujaizi, Assistant Director, Business Development Department, Ministry of Heritage & Tourism, Oman, emphasized:
“India is one of Oman’s fastest-growing source markets. Through Focus Oman, we aimed to create strong and lasting business connections, showcase our diverse tourism offerings, and reinforce Oman as the perfect destination for leisure travel, corporate events, and weddings. This edition also allowed us to highlight destinations within Oman that appeal to second-time visitors looking for deeper cultural and adventure-led experiences.”

They also highlighted the enthusiasm of Indian trade partners for exploring new destinations within Oman, beyond Muscat and Salalah, such as Jabal Akhdar, Nizwa, and Sur.

The event reaffirmed the strong potential of India as a key growth market, with participants confident that the partnerships initiated in Jaipur would lead to increased arrivals, higher-value travellers, and stronger MICE collaborations in the years ahead.
