Pankaj Saxena Promoted to Area General Manager, West India, Radisson Hotel Group, South Asia
Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) is proud to announce the promotion of Mr. Pankaj Saxena to the position of Area General Manager, West India, Radisson Hotel Group, South Asia & General Manager, Radisson Blu Pune Kharadi where he will now oversee the group’s operations and growth across this key region. Pankaj continues in his role as General Manager of Radisson Blu Pune Kharadi, a premium property located close to Pune Airport and World Trade Center, Pune Kharadi.
With a distinguished career spanning 27 years in the hospitality industry, Pankaj has demonstrated exceptional leadership in both operational and strategic roles. His new role as Area General Manager will see him leverage his deep expertise and passion for hospitality to drive Radisson Hotel Group’s growth and expansion across West India.
Under Pankaj’s leadership, Radisson Blu Pune Kharadi has, offering 141 uniquely designed rooms and suites, a luxury spa, multiple dining options, and expansive meeting and event spaces. The hotel also features Carmine—All Day Dining Coffee Shop; Citrine—The Cake & Bake Shop; Skye—The Lounge Bar; The Bridge—Connecting Three Cuisines; and the signature restaurant, The Great Kabab Factory.
Pankaj holds a Diploma in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from Mangalore University. He is also a certified leader under RHG’s Leaders Excellence Program, recognized at the RHG Corporate Office in Brussels, Belgium.
Throughout his career, Pankaj has earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious ‘Hotel of the Year’ award at the Asia Pacific Business Conference in Bangkok. His recent awards include the Radisson Hotel Group Special Recognition Award and the Centre of Excellence Recognition Award 2024. He also received the H&RA Western India Honours Recognition Award 2024 and the IHC London & IIHM Hospitality Special Jury Award 2024.
Pankaj has represented Radisson Hotel Group at major international platforms like ITB-Berlin and WTM London, and has actively participated in commercial workshops across Southeast Asia and China.
He currently serves on the Executive Board Committee Member of the Poona Hoteliers Association (PHA).
