Rajasthan Showcases Cultural Grandeur and Tourism Potential at “Colors of the World Fair” in Istanbul

Continuing its mission to position Rajasthan as a top global travel destination, the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan, in association with the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR), is making a vibrant and exclusive appearance at the prestigious “Colors of the World Fair” in Istanbul, Turkey, from 18 to 20 April 2025.
The Rajasthan Pavilion is a stunning showcase of the state's rich cultural legacy, exceptional tourism offerings, and warm hospitality. Day one of the fair saw a grand inauguration, with the Pavilion quickly emerging as a major attraction for visitors. The welcoming delegation included senior officials from the Department of Tourism, the Presidents of FHTR and the Hotel and Restaurant Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), as well as prominent members from the Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA) and the Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO).
The delegation comprises renowned hoteliers, travel agents, destination management companies, event planners, folk artists, and culinary experts – all coming together to present the diverse and vibrant spirit of Rajasthan.
The Pavilion stood out with its vibrant traditional attire – colorful saris and turbans – live folk music, interactive cultural activities, Rajasthani culinary delights, and captivating giveaways. International guests responded with great enthusiasm, particularly drawn to the soulful musical performances and the immersive experiences that brought Rajasthan’s culture to life.
FHTR President Kuldeep Singh Chandela delivered a warm welcome address, setting a positive tone for Rajasthan's participation. He was joined by Dr. Punita Singh, Joint Director, Department of Tourism, for a thought-provoking panel discussion on the future of global tourism, alongside senior tourism officials from around the world.
The event also spotlighted the untapped potential for tourism exchange between Türkiye and Rajasthan, emphasizing their shared cultural roots and heritage, and paving the way for collaborative growth.
With an enthusiastic start and impactful presence, the Rajasthan delegation is set to further strengthen international tourism ties and promote the state’s unmatched diversity, hospitality, and world-class experiences.
