TAAPI Organizes Networking Event in Surat to Strengthen Travel Industry

To enhance business connections between B2B service providers and B2C agents, the Travel Agents Association of Pan India (TAAPI) organized a buyer-seller networking event in Surat. The event saw enthusiastic participation from over 200 members from various states, fostering industry collaboration and business growth.

More than 70 Destination Management Companies (DMCs) showcased their India and international packages to 150+ travel agents, equipping them with valuable insights ahead of the summer vacation season. This enabled agents to provide well-informed travel recommendations to their clients.

Mr. Malcome Pandol, former South Gujarat Chapter Chairman of TAAI, graced the event as a guest and emphasized the importance of adapting to modern technology, reaching target customers, and staying competitive in today’s dynamic travel industry.

TAAPI President Shri Vinesh Shah highlighted the critical role of such networking events in helping travel agents survive in a highly competitive market. He stressed that organizing frequent industry programs strengthens members and ensures their sustainability.

The event commenced with Ganesh Vandana and a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by esteemed guests and TAAPI committee members. During the program, TAAPI announced its upcoming initiative, "TAAPI ON WHEELS," a roadshow targeting Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, starting from Gujarat and expanding to Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra.

Additionally, TAAPI revealed that the TAAPI Travel Expo (TTE) 2025 will take place in Surat in August 2025, featuring 170+ B2B supplier exhibitors and expecting 500+ trade visitors.

Vice President Mr. Jignesh Patel played a key role in planning and execution, supported by Treasurer Mr. Shivkumar Gupta, Secretary Mr. Amit Patel, Joint Secretary Mr. Vishrut Gandhi, and committee members. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Patel.
