Tourism is one of the '3T' focus in UP Global Investors Summit
Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit (UPGIS) 2023 scheduled from 10-12 February 2023 at Lucknow, is the flagship Investment Summit of the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The 3-day long Investors Summit will bring together policy makers, corporate leaders, business delegations, academia, think-tanks and Political and Government leadership from across the globe, to collectively explore business opportunities and forge partnerships. The governement is focusing of 3Ts Tourism, Trade and Technology.
UPGIS 2023 is an initiative aligned to the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, of making our country a USD 5 Trillion economy, towards which the Government of Uttar Pradesh has set an aspiration target of making the State a USD 1 Trillion economy in next 5 years.
The Tourism focus SECTORAL SESSIONS in the Summit on the first day is - Tourism – Leveraging a Cultural Heritage for Modern & Progressive Uttar Pradesh. UPGIS 2023 will witness participation of more than 10,000 delegates (Domestic and International) from over 20 countries, generating widespread influence and will serve as a unique forum for business networking, knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships by bringing together business leaders, political and economic dignitaries, entrepreneurs, & industry associates from across the world.
The Government of Uttar Pradesh has set a target of attracting investment intents of worth INR 10 Lakh Crore at UPGIS 2023 and has come out with a new online system for signing MoUs and monitoring their implementation.
Leading to UPGIS 2023, the Government of Uttar Pradesh had organized roadshows at 16 Countries and the ongoing roasdshow are planned in 8 Key India cities , to propagate the investment attractiveness of Uttar Pradesh and garner investment intents. Many progressive economies like the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Germany, The Netherlands and UAE have already committed to be the ‘Partner Country’.
