2 Sister State Fam Trip Unveils the  Wonders of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam

Time Traveller Holiday Experts and Trek & Ride Expeditions, renowned Destination Management Travel companies based in Guwahati, Assam & West Siang, Arunachal (India), recently organized a successful ‘2 Sister State Fam Trip’ to Arunachal Pradesh and Assam in collaboration with Safari Plus as the media partner, along with Travel Heels and other associates.

The educational trip saw the participation of 15 travel agents from across India (9 different states), who experienced firsthand the rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, and warm hospitality of the region. The itinerary covered key destinations:

Day 1: Guwahati – Known as the gateway to Northeast India, Guwahati offered a blend of spiritual and cultural experiences, with visits to iconic temples and vibrant local markets.

Day 2: Kaziranga Orchid Park and Bomdila – Participants explored the lush tea gardens and Kaziranga Orchid Park, followed by a journey to Bomdila, a serene hill town offering panoramic views of the Eastern Himalayas.

Day 3: Tawang – The day included a visit to the historic Bomdila Monastery, a journey through the breathtaking Sella Pass, and a stop at the war memorial Jaswant Garh before reaching Tawang, home to the famous Tawang Monastery.

Day 4: Bumla Pass and Sangester Lake – This day featured a visit to the high-altitude Bumla Pass, near the Indo-China border, and the picturesque Sangester Lake, surrounded by snow-capped mountains.

Day 5: Dirang and Sangti Valley – A scenic drive to Dirang, known for its apple orchards and hot springs, followed by a visit to the tranquil Sangti Valley, a hidden gem perfect for nature lovers.

Day 6: Dirang and Guwahati – After exploring Dirang and beautiful Monastery and local village, the participants returned to Guwahati for a relaxing evening.

Day 7: Kamakhya Temple and Shopping – The final day included a visit to the revered Kamakhya Temple, a prominent pilgrimage site, and a chance to shop for local handicrafts and souvenirs.
