IITM Pune and Hyderabad: A Resounding Success in Travel and Tourism
The India International Travel Mart (IITM), a landmark event in the travel and tourism industry, concluded its Pune and Hyderabad editions with remarkable success. Held from November 29 to December 1, 2024, in Pune and December 6 to 8, 2024, in Hyderabad, the shows celebrated 25 years of fostering travel partnerships and showcased India’s growing prominence as a global tourism hub.
A Vibrant Platform for Travel Connections
IITM provided a dynamic stage for stakeholders across the travel and tourism ecosystem, bringing together national and international tourism boards, travel operators, airlines, hoteliers, and ancillary industries. Over 400 exhibitors from 20 Indian states and 15 international destinations participated, presenting a spectrum of travel options from adventure and cultural tourism to wellness and culinary experiences.
Distinguished Guests and Grand Inaugurations
The Pune edition was inaugurated by industry stalwarts such as Sameer Kulkarni, Chairman of the Travel Agents Federation of India - Pune Chapter, and Pandurang Taware, President of the Agri-Tourism Development Organization. In Hyderabad, Sri Zendage Hanumant Kondiba, IAS, Director of Tourism, Telangana, along with leaders like Nagesh Pampati, Chairman of the Travel Agents Association of India, graced the opening ceremony.
