Odisha to host FIH Hockey Men’s World Cup 2023
Odisha, soul of Incredible India is a land of exciting spectacles and sports is one of them. The state is yet again ready and all set to host the FIH World Cup 2023.
The Odisha government is leaving no stone unturned to project the state as a sports destination ahead of Men's Hockey World Cup to be held here in January. While projecting Bhubaneswar as the country's sports capital, the government also aims to attract tourists from the country and abroad.
The tournament is divided into 5 pools consisting of 4 countries each.
Date: 13th- 29th January 2023
Venue: Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar and Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium, Rourkela
