World Tourism Day Celebrations Bring Travel Trade Together in Delhi
The GITF in collaboration with Purvanchal Paraytan Association & Destiny Drive organized a grand celebration of the 4th edition of World Tourism Day 2024 on the 28th of September in Dwarka, Delhi. The event, aimed at uniting the travel trade community, and it was attended by over 140 travel professionals from various segments of the industry.
The celebration was graced by the Honorable Minister of Industries, Shri Shahnawaz Hussain, as the chief guest, alongside Mr. Subash Goyal, Chairman of STIC Travel, who offered valuable insights into the importance of tourism for India’s economy.
Minister Shahnawaz Hussain praised the efforts of the tourism industry, saying, "Tourism plays a pivotal role in the growth and development of our nation. It not only showcases the rich cultural heritage of India but also creates employment opportunities for millions.
