Q) Nasher Miles has made every effort to make their bags suitable to every travel situation. What was the inspiration for each one-of-a-kind design and style?
A few years ago, at an international terminal waiting for the luggage on the baggage belt, we realized how monotonous every bag looked. This seemed like an opportunity to break the chain that led to the birth of a brand that is driven by nothing but innovation. Every single piece created at Nasher Miles is designed and engineered to set the customer apart. Colour takes center stage whenever we think of new designs. We include at least 5-7 colours in every collection. Q) When it comes to travel bags, the Indian philosophy is durability. How is it cared for?
The name Nasher is derived from the Persian word "Nasher Kardan" meaning to publish. The word "Miles" underlines every mile of the journey of a traveller. The term "Nasher Miles" together refers to a promise of bringing to the world, real travel experiences Since the beginning, we've been very affirmative of delivering the best to our fellow travellers and we believe in zero compromises. Q) With the goal of engaging children at the airport, this might be a tool in which your creativity can shine. What are your opinions on it?
We can have a booth where children can show their creativity on suitcases and backpacks. They can colour, draw and add stickers to the bags and give it their own personal touch. To drive the message of unbreakable shells further, we can have a jungle gym/play area made with the luggage shells. Safety of children is paramount, and this will have to be carefully planned.
Q) What are your thoughts on the Indian market in this sector?
The Indian luggage sector is dominated by Samsonite, VIP and Safari. These incumbents mainly focus on the offline sector. There is immense room for innovation in the D2C space in this industry, and Nasher Miles is here to change the game.
