Deputy CM and Tourism Minister Invited to Inaugural Function of RDTM 2024

A delegation from the Federation of Hospitality & Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR), led by President Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chandela, met with Deputy CM Ms. Diya Kumari and Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Hon'ble Minister for Tourism, Art & Culture, to invite them to the inaugural function of the Rajasthan Domestic Travel Mart (RDTM) going to held on September 13, 2024. During the meeting, discussions were held on key issues such as GST, visa-on-arrival for European tourists, direct international flights from Europe to Jaipur, and the management of historical monuments. The delegation included senior  vice president Mr. Surendra Singh Shahpura, secretary general CA Virendra Singh, president of HRAR Mr. Tarun Bansal, Secretary of RATO Mr. Mohan Singh Mertia and secretary  of HRAR Mr. Ranvijay Singh.

RDTM to Focus on Wedding, Incentive, Conference, and Event Tourism

The fourth edition of RDTM will be held from September 13 to 15 at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur. The event, organised in collaboration with FHTR and the Rajasthan Tourism Department, will centre around the theme of Wedding, Incentive, Conference, and Event (WICE) tourism. Over 200 stalls and more than 600 properties will be showcased, with an expected attendance of 1,300 buyers and over 7,000 visitors.

RDTM 2024 is being organised with the support of key industry bodies, including the Hotels and Restaurants Association of Rajasthan (HRAR), Indian Heritage Hotels Association (IHHA), Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO), Jodhana Hotels and Restaurants Association (JARA), and the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI). RDTM 2024 will provide stakeholders with a platform to showcase products across various tourism sectors, including heritage, adventure, wildlife, pilgrimage, weddings, eco-tourism, and village tourism. The event will also feature B2B meetings, promoting business opportunities and networking.
