Kota Hadoti Travel Mart 2026: A Strategic Step to Place Hadoti on the Global Tourism Map
The Kota Hadoti Travel Mart 2026, organised by Rajasthan Tourism (Government of Rajasthan) in association with the Hotel Federation of Rajasthan – Kota Division, commenced on a high note with its official inauguration by Hon’ble Shri Om Birla, Speaker of the Lok Sabha, at a grand ceremony held at the iconic Chambal River Front, Kota.
Inaugurating the Travel Mart as the Chief Guest, Shri Om Birla highlighted that the Hadoti region represents a rare and powerful blend of rich heritage, natural beauty, and cultural depth, offering immense untapped tourism potential. He warmly welcomed travel agents, tour operators, hoteliers, and tourism stakeholders who had gathered from various states to explore the region’s offerings.
Addressing the gathering, the Kota Member of Parliament noted that Hadoti is endowed with magnificent forts, stepwells, historical monuments, and important religious sites, making it a destination capable of attracting both domestic and international travellers. He specifically cited attractions such as the Chambal River Front, Chambal River Safari, Bundi’s Taragarh Fort, Gagron Fort, and Shahabad Fort, stating that these landmarks have the potential to emerge as major tourism draws.
Emphasising the importance of sustained promotion, Shri Birla stated that platforms like the Kota Hadoti Travel Mart play a crucial role in placing the region firmly on the global tourism map and should be organised annually to ensure continuous visibility, infrastructure growth, and stakeholder engagement.

The Travel Mart aims to reposition Hadoti—covering Kota, Bundi, Jhalawar, and Baran—as a standalone destination, rather than a peripheral stop within Rajasthan. Despite its wealth of heritage, wildlife, art, and living traditions, the region has remained relatively under-explored compared to other parts of the state.
Held at Art Hill & Riverfront, Kota, the three-day Travel Mart features B2B exhibitions, networking sessions, destination experiences, heritage walks, cultural performances, and curated networking dinners, bringing together the travel trade, investors, and destination storytellers to unlock Hadoti’s full tourism potential.
With strong institutional support and growing industry participation, the Kota Hadoti Travel Mart 2026 marks a decisive step towards sustainable tourism development and long-term destination branding for the Hadoti region.
